Recently I purchased a BRAND NEW blender from the ole GoodWill for a whopping $10! We are talking in the box, with instructions, never been used. I thought that was too good of a deal to pass up. So I got it and have been experimenting with different smoothie recipes. Since I know I do not usually get enough micro-nutrients into my daily diet, I thought blending my fruits and veggies will help me actually get them in.

After playing around I bring to you, my ultimate green smoothie. If you hate the taste of whey protein, blending it makes it blend in with all the other flavors.You can swap kale for spinach or add some olive oil if you need to get more fats into your diet. You also could add in steel cut oats if you need some fiber or carbs. The options are endless.
